What happens in the soul when, for some reason, we reject our father or mother? When we hold something against our mother or father, when we are angry with them, who are we actually angry at? We are angry with ourselves. Wheather we want it or not, what we dislike in them the most - lies within us. And the more we try to suppress and reject those unpleasant qualities and patterns of behavior, they surface more and more within us. Therefore, we are angry at that part of our father or mother that we dislike inside us. Rejecting them - we reject our self. And that is how, over time, our soul develops "stains we are blind to" and which we don't love, which we, in fact, reject.
